What's up, buttercup?

Alrighty, February contest time! Since spring is right around the corner (and last year was my busiest knitting season!) let's think happy spring thoughts! Hopefully, we can banish any dreary, gray, and slushy thoughts we're having!
Here we go:
tell me your upcoming projects or plans. They could be remodeling, crafting, hair color change, or health-wise changes you will be trying in the near future. These are different than resolutions, in that we will actually DO them!! Haha! The prize will be a skein of natural 100% pure fiber (either wool or alpaca) shipped to the winner. Heck, I'll even wind it for ya!
I'll go first. My plan is to sew more projects. The two in mind are recovering my sofa pillows shabby chic style, and sew up some project totes from some fat quarters I impulse bought. My little girl picked one to, so we will make them together. I'm pretty stoked to create along side her!
K, you go!!
Please  have a good day, and remember God gave you this day to show your love to somebody else!
Eileen

  3. Hello there, you have a very nice blog and I love the FOs on the sidebar. -- Oh boy do I have goals. I plan on excercising more, visiting my family more this year in Michigan, working on my holiday gifts throughout the year, knitting more lace patterns and paying down my highest credit card !

  4. I plan to give my crafting room the respect it deserves, by actually organizing, donating and decluttering(is that a word?) it, so I can use it the way it was intended to be used. I've already started this last year by going through the many plastic containers of my myriad of yarn skeins, but I need to finish the job.

  5. Well, the list is long … but in the near future I plan to actually finish the vest design that I started months ago on a whim in the wee hours of the morning. And now that the weather is getting warmer, the most immediate project is getting the garden back into shape for spring planting. I am also thinking that it's time to stop putting it off and get my own website built since I bought the domain for it last August--aww, maybe that one should be on the "resolutions" list. My, how time flies!

  6. I'm so excited, I can hardly stand it! I started a new upcycle project using old thrift store wool sweaters. I have several ideas I want to use them for, but I'm just getting started. The felting prep work is in process now. You can see more about it on MY blog

  7. My project at the moment is to get some PDF knitting patterns finished up that I plan to list on Ravelry and Etsy for sale. That will keep me occupied for a while. :o)

  8. I have been walking on the treadmill trying to walk every day for at least 30 minutes. There have been a few missed days here and there and some days that I have even walked for a longer period of time. It is my start to trying to live a healthier life!

  11. Getting to the point where my basement and office are somewhat organized. Still have materials from 3 previous jobs laying around. Using up my entire yarn stash and not buying anymore. I would like to move from finding a project for the yarn to having a fun knitting project and then buying the yarn for it. :)
